During the 2026 Lunar New Year holiday, Seoul’s Four Grand Palaces, Jongmyo Shrine, King Sejong’s Historic Site, and the Royal Tombs of the Joseon Dynasty will be open to everyone free of charge. They will operate free of charge for 5 days from February 14 to 18; however, Changdeokgung Palace’s Secret Garden (Huwon) will remain a paid attraction, as usual. Please note that on the 19th, the day after the holiday ends, all sites will be closed for the entire day.
