Sangumburi, Natural Monument No. 263, is a crater exceeding 2km in circumference, famously featured as an impressive location in the movie ‘Love Wind Love Song’. It is the only Maar volcano in Korea and globally rare, uniquely formed on Jeju Island by an explosive eruption that ejected rock without lava or ash, leaving only the crater.
  2. Kim Young-gap Gallery Dumoak
This gallery, personally renovated by photographer Kim Young-gap despite his battle with ALS, showcases his passionate works that capture the tranquility and peace of Jeju Island. His photographs delve beyond the superficial tourist view, revealing Jeju’s profound inner beauty through captivating images of its landscapes, weather, and a poignant sense of solitude.
  3. Lunch (Haoreum Restaurant)
Haoreum Restaurant is a popular dining spot conveniently located at the entrance of Seongsan Ilchulbong. It provides travelers an easy and relaxed way to savor Jeju’s special flavors.
  4. Seongsan Sunrise Peak
Seongsan Sunrise Peak is a 180-meter-high volcanic cone, formed by a rare underwater eruption about 5,000 years ago, which broke lava into fine ash to create its distinctive conical shape. Originally an island, it is now connected to the mainland and features a 600-meter-diameter crater at its summit.
