At Dumoak, within the hallowed space of the Kim Young-gap Gallery, I found art that breathed the very air of the island – shadows and light dancing on canvases, mirroring the profound stillness, the quiet dignity of the landscape outside. It was a moment of deep communion, where the artist’s soul merged with Jeju’s essence.

Beyond the artistic heart, the island revealed its enduring spirit at the Sinpung Sincheon Sea Ranch. Here, the ocean felt more intimate, a working partner, yet still breathtakingly serene. A landscape both wild and cultivated, where the whispers of generations mingled with the ocean’s roar, telling tales of resilience and harmony.

And then, the ultimate surrender to peace: the Pyo Seon Haevichi Beach, a sanctuary at the journey’s end. The soft sand beneath my feet, the endless horizon before my eyes, the luxurious calm of the Haevichi Beach Retreat. It was a place to absorb every memory, every hue, every sound. To let the soul expand and heal, cradled by Jeju’s magnificent embrace. This was more than a trip; it was a pilgrimage to the heart of beauty, leaving an indelible mark on my very being.

Olle Course 3
Olle Course 3 offers a tranquil 20.6km journey through mid-mountain paths. Old Jeju stone walls, lush native trees, and the unique, low yet expansive views from Tong Oreum and Dokjabong enhance the scenic charm.
Kim Young-gap Gallery (Dumoak)
The Kim Young-gap Gallery (Dumoak) was personally transformed by photographer Kim Young-gap from the old Samdal Elementary School, despite his struggle with ALS and limited mobility. Here, visitors can admire his passionate spirit and his captivating works that embody the quiet and peaceful essence of Jeju Island.
Sinpung Sincheon Sea Ranch
Newly opened to the public, the Sinpung Sincheon Sea Ranch path is a unique Badang Olle-gil where the blue sea and green pastures harmoniously meet. This distinctive coastal trail offers a landscape found exclusively on Jeju Island.
Pyo Seon Haevichi Beach
Pyo Seon Haevichi Beach uniquely transforms from a wide, circular sandy beach at low tide to a shallow, lake-like area about 1m deep at high tide, providing varying atmospheres and firm sand ideal for children. It is famous for its frontal sunrise views, and its sand, formed from crushed seashells, is known to be particularly effective for relieving neuralgia through sand bathing.
