🛑 Course Itinerary

Odongdo Island
Odongdo Island is famously associated with its vibrant camellia flowers and marks a key point within Hallyeohaesang National Park. Boasting dense evergreen forests with over 200 species, wildflower gardens, and natural learning spaces, visitors can also enjoy boat tours around its beautiful coastline, admiring unique rock formations and sea caves.
Yeosu Jinnamgwan
Jinnamgwan, designated National Treasure No. 304, is the sole remaining structure of the historic Jeolla Jwasuyeong Fortress. This grand single-story building features a hip-and-gable roof, measures 15 bays (54.5m) wide by 5 bays (14m) deep, and is supported by 68 round, entasis columns.
Jeollanam-do Marine Fisheries Science Museum
Opened in May 1998, the Jeollanam-do Marine Fisheries Science Museum is situated at Musulmok Resort, a historical site of Admiral Yi Sun-sin’s victory during the Imjin War, and is connected to the scenic Hallyeohaesang National Park and other South Coast tourist destinations. Its extensive facilities include an aquarium, marine fisheries, and marine science exhibition halls, a seed culture facility, and an audiovisual room, complemented by new 3D stereoscopic video and marine organism natural history halls.
Hyangiram Hermitage (Yeosu)
Hyangiram Hermitage, one of Korea’s four major Gwaneum prayer sites, was founded in 644 by Silla monk Wonhyo Daesa as Wontongam, later undergoing name changes to Geumoam and its current Hyangiram. Although a 2009 fire destroyed key structures like the Wontongbojeon, Jongmuso, and Jonggak, these were restored and consecrated in 2012, allowing the hermitage to maintain its full monastic character.
Dolsan Island
Dolsan Island, the seventh-largest island in Korea, is linked to the Yeosu Peninsula via the Dolsan Bridge, completed in 1984. The 450-meter cable-stayed Dolsan Bridge, itself a tourist attraction for its scenic harmony, provides access to the island’s many sights, including Dolsan Park, Bangjukpo Beach, and Hyangiram Temple, all connected by a well-paved coastal road.
